Royal Galata Hotel

Great convenient location

friendly staff and clean, well-designed, efficient room

Great hotel, I loved the interconnecting rooms so my teenage daughter and her friend could have a sense of independence while being beside us and for my peace of mind. The facilities were perfect The location was amazing right in the heart of Galata and near public transport. The staff were so friendly and helpful

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just walking distance to Galata Tower and a whole row of lovely cafes. The service was excellent, with everyone very friendly and welcoming, especially Yusuf, who not only provided professional service but also made me feel warm and valued throughout my stay. This hotel is definitely worth staying at again.

We had only one breakfast, which was very nice. Probably not enough fresh food.

More fresh food

Location was centric to everything: food, iconic parts, night live

A little confusion at the front desk with charging the shuttle service. note it is per ride, not per person. My friend and I had arrived different times so we each paid for pick up and drop off upon arrival. Because there were different personnel we double paid for the drop off until we discussed it and realized it. Thankfully, the front desk realized it when we brought it up and got our refund but important to keep note. Other than that, the room And personnel were great

it was well maintained. the location of the property was more than ideal. The staff were amazing and super friendly. 10/10 .it was right next to Istiklal street and to the tower. Sultanahmet was also only a bridge away, couldn’t have asked for a better location.

That I didn’t stay for longer.

The room was quite small but very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and polite, always ready to help. The location is central, which is convenient but also very crowded at times.Overall, a good stay for short visits.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were a bit small. Excellent location. Staff were especially helpful.

I liked the location of the hotel, walking distance from the metro, Galata tower, Galata port and the mall. Plenty of restaurants around the area and the staff were amazing.

Hard for the taxi to reach it. We heard the conversation of our neighbors.

Good water pressure great location.

They told us the Grand Bazaar was closed, but it was open. They also charged extra for one hour delay without informing us, even though they had my contact. Very disappointing.

Very convenient location.

The bathroom had a bit of mould in it. Beds were a bit hard.

Awsome breakfast, great location, friendly staff

Top floor rooms were hot, air con couldn't keep up

Clean, well maintained, in the center of the city - close to Galata and Istiklal.

Being on the street that leads to Galata, it’s really noisy there. All day the street is full of noise, at night there sometimes have been crazily loud metal sounds from some nearby construction.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Very good location. Literally steps away from the Galata Tower, tram station…

The AC in my room seemed not working well even though the staff adjusted the temp control to very low. The first couple of nights were not very comfortable since it was hot outside. The following nights were nice and easy.

Everything was amazing! Beautiful room, super comfortable beds, clean, comfy, cozy ♥️ The stuff was very nice and friendly ♥️ Definitely will stay here for my next’s trip to Istanbul?

I can’t think of one thing that I didn’t like ♥️

location.

ROOM WAS VERY HOT!! THEY COULD NOT ADJUST THE AIR CONDITIONER. DID NOT EVEN OFFER ALTERNATIVE

Very clean, good location, ok breakfast.

We paid for a room with balcony and they gave us one without that was really small. We complained about it but they said they were fully booked. Water in the shower was constantly alternating from cold to hot. Staff looked not very happy to be there. Ac was set on warm and the room was always super hot because it was on the top floor.

Best area to stay in Istanbul if you are a tourist, you can walk to so many places and Galata is so beautiful. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We got a small but lovely room with a balcony, very nice view!

Location, value for money and friendliness of the man at the front counter.

The stuff was excellent,so polite and the hotel was near all the transport and the GalataTower and it had everything you need concerned on breakfast till noon and transport to the airport, hammam, everything was perfect!! Highly recommended!
